Leah Setzen
Leah Setzen joined the firm in September 2006 and specializes in family law. Prior to joining the firm, Leah worked as a prosecutor with the Kane County State's Attorney's Office and also as an associate at the Law Offices of Lawrence K. Rynning in Wheaton, Illinois and at Cozen O'Conner in Chicago, Illinois. Leah graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2000. In 1998, Leah received the CALI Award for excellence in Legal Research and Writing and wrote for the law school alumni publication, Illinois Jurist. While in law school, Leah taught a course in Introduction to Advocacy to undergraduate students. Leah graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa with a degree in speech communication from the University of Illinois in 1997. Leah is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, where she co-authors the Family Law Section's monthly Case Updates, and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. Leah continues her involvement with the University of Illinois College of law by serving as a member of the board of directors of the University of Illinois Law Alumni Association and by participating as a panelist at the College of Law's annual Student-Alumni Conference. Hilary Sefton Hilary joined the firm in 2007. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Psychology, and minors in Chemistry and Biology (2003), Hilary received a Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School (2007). While at John Marshall, Hilary successfully completed the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Program and met Danya A. Grunyk, one of her professors in law school. Hilary found her passion for Family Law early in her law school career, while clerking for two family law firms and volunteering at Chicago's legal aid offices and PILI. Hilary originally joined Grunyk & Associates, P.C., as a law clerk in 2006. While clerking, Hilary gained extensive experience in domestic relations law under the direction of the firm's distinguished attorneys and established relationships within the family law community. As a trained mediator, the skills Hilary possesses and her experience in family law assist her in negotiating favorable settlements for her clients. Additionally, Hilary researches and prepares monthly updates of caselaw, including recent trends in Illinois Family Law, to the DuPage Family Law Committee. The skills, knowledge of caselaw, and experiences Hilary has gained enable her to be an effective advocate for her clients. Andrew Hauser  Kelly Peterson
Kelly Peterson joined the firm in November 2008. Kelly graduated cum laude from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2008. Upon graduation, Kelly received the David Peskind Memorial Award for excellence in Family Law. While in law school, Kelly worked as a law clerk at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in a juvenile delinquency courtroom as well as working extensively in the felony narcotics trial courtroom. Kelly graduated from Loyola University-Chicago, Lambda Epsilon Chi, with a post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies. Kelly graduated with a degree in English Literature and a varsity letter in lightweight crew, which she had served as the team captain, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. Kelly is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Jane Maley
Jane Maley, paralegal and assistant to Danya Grunyk. Jane graduated from the Southern Illinois University ABA approved paralegal program in 1996 and has 12 years experience in the legal field. Jane's legal experience has been concentrated primarily in family law. Laura Duet Jason Prestinario
Jason Prestinario, webmaster and IT technician for the firm. In addition, Jason supports the rest of the team in a variety of administrative activities. He is part time while also working on his undergraduate mechanical engineering degree from Stanford University. Marnee Pauley
