Leah D. Setzen

Leah Setzen joined the firm in September 2006 and specializes in family law. Prior to joining the firm, Leah worked as a prosecutor with the Kane County State's Attorney's Office and also as an associate at the Law Offices of Lawrence K. Rynning in Wheaton, Illinois and at Cozen O'Conner in Chicago, Illinois.

Leah graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2000. In 1998, Leah received the CALI Award for excellence in Legal Research and Writing and wrote for the law school alumni publication, Illinois Jurist. While in law school, Leah taught a course in Introduction to Advocacy to undergraduate students. Leah graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa with a degree in speech communication from the University of Illinois in 1997.

Leah is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, where she co-authors the Family Law Section's monthly Case Updates, and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. Leah continues her involvement with the University of Illinois College of law by serving as a member of the board of directors of the University of Illinois Law Alumni Association and by participating as a panelist at the College of Law's annual Student-Alumni Conference.
